Catching up on past events, Part 1

I've been a little slack with the postings lately, so in the interest of keeping everyone in the loop, I'm posting some events from last year. First up, the grand move out of San Francisco!

Nicole and Dave were gracious enough to help me move all my stuff out of my apartment and into the container that took it to Minneosta. Above is the majority of it, although Nicole had some stuff in her car as well. Just enough to get started without being overloaded, right?
Even with all my stuff in the container, there was still plenty of room.
A little free advertising. Smart Move ended up being a great company, and the move was easy and seemless.
Then, off to lunch! Apparently, this place is a Bay Area landmark, so I'm glad I got to eat there at least once before leaving the area.
Thanks again, Nicole and Dave! Remember: all you can drink milk is in your future!

I can't believe that's what you look like on moving day, impressive! When we moved I looked like a homeless person for a week.

It can't be too much of a Bay Area landmark- I've never even heard of it. That statue looks familiar, though!

It was our pleasure! I do recall, however, that there was a brief moment upon our arrival at the storage unit when there was a) noone there, doors locked, blinds closed followed by b) no record of your reservation, happy concluded by c) the serendipitous arrival of movers dropping off another storage unit. Good times!

That's all just part of the adventure!
