Wedding weekend
This weekend, James, Anne and I were invited to a wedding of a good friend of Anne's. As it happens, Travis came to visit from Vancouver, so he got to come with. We had a great time, and many others were a part of the fun, but I've decided to not display the images of others without a signed release. Enjoy!

The evening got a little rough as time went on.
Trav thought that this man's pants matched my dress almost exactly. He was right!

NYC Half Marathon
So, Samantha and I completed the NYC Half Marathon last weekend. I was really nervous about it. Even thought we've done the SF Half Marathon for a few years now, this felt very different. The heat only! I mean, SF in October is very different than NYC in July! But we did it, and had a great time.
I came into the city on Friday morning, which allowed Samantha and I to engage in one of our rituals - the visiting of the outlets. Oh, the bargains to be had!
We stayed Friday night at Samantha's condo in Hoboken. Its absolutely beautiful! Its full of pictures and items from all of her travels (some with me!) and really reflects her warming and generous personality. And the rooftop patio! 360 views of the area and a great view of the Empire State Building. What a great way to spend my first night there!
On Saturday, we headed into the city, and met up with cousin, Kristine. All three of us headed to the meatpacking district for dinner, and cupcakes at Magnolia Bakery. Yumm!
Sunday, of course, was the race.

Not the greatest picture, I know, but I (borrowed) it from the event website. This is us running through Times Square. If you look through the pixels, I think you can see we were having a great time.
