Chicago with Mom - the evidence

Day 1: Taste of Chicago - I think Mom really enjoyed it.

Dinner at the Hancock Tower. No pictures of the view, but they just wouldn't be able to do the view justice. But pictures of us - aren't we beautiful?

Day 2: Architectural Boat Tour - all are not created equal. I went on a tour with a work friend earlier, and there was no comparison to this one. It rocked! Course, the good weather helped. Fest your eyes on Chicago from the river.

By the end of the weekend, I had walked Mom all over town, but she was a trooper. Tired, but okay. Right, Mom?

View of the city from the Museum Plaza

Shedd Aquarium - I am such a sucker for aquariums, and this one didn't disappoint. The seahorses were the best, but a bit camera shy. We ended up by this big pool of water...for the dolphin show!
Do you think they are jumping for joy because I finally updated my blog?

Yeah, an update!! I thought you were trying to sneak by without posting pictures of your mom's trip to Chicago. I'm glad you finally did! The 3rd picture from the bottom looks totally fake - looks like you pasted your mom's picture onto a postcard with those crazy clouds, the boats and city in the background.

Looks like you guys had a great time. Maybe we'll see some Oprah in the pics next time? You've been in Chicago long enough to work that one out, haven't you?
