Minnesota Wild

Thanks to my wonderful brother James, (and his lovely wife, Anne) I got to see my first professional hockey game live, and it was awesome! Best sport ever! And we had seats two rows behind the (dugout? I don't know the hockey term.) We could actually see the coaches yell at their players, and had an excellent view of the smack talk between players. No fights, though. Its Sunday, after all.

I have pics of the event, which I'll post later, but just wanted to let everyone that the Minnesota Wild are going to the playoffs! After a 3-2 victory over the Colorade Avalanche in overtime, they are ready to take on...well, who ever they are supposed to be playing. I am really enjoying this sport, but let's be honest: I don't really know anything about it. Maybe by next year...

Thanks for a great night, James! Love you!

Happy belated Birthday, Kate! Glad you enjoyed the game - maybe you can get your own hockey skates for next winter - I hear that checking is really thrilling. Watch out Seamus, here comes aunt Katie!

Maybe the Montreal Habs will play your team, and we place bets. :)
