Super Seamus!

Having a nephew that can talk is a lot of fun, especially with one as imaginative as this one. Seamus has been such a kick to get to know, and we have been having a lot of fun together.

Here he is working on his "project" in the backyard. I call it digging to China, but I think he's actually trying to build a tunnel to the house next door so he can play with Bridget whenever he wants.

Speaking of Bridget, here she is swimming with Seamus in the new pool. The water is absolutely freezing, but that didn't keep Seamus from hours of doing "cannonfalls" into the water.

When the kids finally decided they needed to warm up a little bit, we wrapped them in towels. When I called for a picture, only one kid was ready for his close-up.

Although not so ready for this one. Brr!

Not a great picture, lighting-wise, but still one of my favorites. What a great laugh this kid has! And I can't wait to hear what he's going to say next. Today, he told me that he was really glad that I had come to visit, and that he was having a lot of fun with me. Same for me, Seamus!

I'm just the dad here - but no one thinks it's a bad idea that the three year old is digging a muddy pit in the side yard?

I would like to see an action shot of a "cannonfall" - can you work on that this week?

Hi Katie-

Your nephews are adorable and I love the picture of Andie on the phone with Connor. His expression is priceless! It is amazing how expressive children are. I'm so glad that you are having such a great time this summer. Look forward to seeing you in NJ.

If ever in trouble... We know who to call "Super Seamus!" Does he cover New Jersey?
