My Birthday celebration in the Twin Cities was a bit delayed, but well worth the wait! We all gathered at a local institution - Nye's Polonaise. I lack the words to adequately describe this place, but luckily Esquire has already done it for me. Check out their article to see for yourself.

Here's the whole crew, minus Katie P. who had to check out early. This picture was taken after dinner but before the polka dancing. (I told you - this place is unique.)
And here's the polka band, in all of its glory. Once they realized how much I (and my peeps) liked dancing to "In Heaven There is No Beer," they agreed to play it multiple times over the course of the evening. The following are a couple of pics of the dancing action.
